Item Spotlight: The "Skater" Dress

While we're on the theme of summer dresses, one in particular has gotten a new name, and a modern twist! The simple, and often short, A-line dress has now been labeled a "skater" dress and it comes in many different styles! I'm here to showcase a few. Shout out to Forever 21 for the great selection!

You have your basic, simple, solid skater dress, which can easily be dressed up or down (depending on shoes and accessories). This can be found for less than $15.00 at tons of different stores.

 



Next, we have the more sophisticated skater dress, using leather, mesh, jewels, and lace to take it up a notch for that date or "Girl's Night Out".

 


Lastly, we have our printed skater dress. These can be a slippery slope, so always make sure you go with a print that's right for you!

 

All in all, these are versatile, fun dresses to wear this summer! Paired with tights and cute boots, you may even be able to get away with wearing them in the fall and winter. Have you placed one of these bad boys in your closet yet?
