Hey Dolls, Happy New Year!

Over the past few months, I've been taking you with me on a sewing journey (via Facebook). This would also explain the lack of posts (sorry). I started sewing in March and it has been a wild and crazy ride learning the basics skills needed to even sew in a straight line. Through it all I feel like I have found what I'm truly passionate about. With that being said. I would like to present you Shay Renae - The Collection.

This collection is something I never thought in a million years would come to fruition, as I never saw myself as a seamstress. I love fashion (obviously), but I've always found it hard to find the things I like in my size. Things that didn't make me look bigger than I already am! I finally figured it was time to start making my own clothes.

Now I was hardly good out the gate, I had many Gordon Gartrells, but I kept going! Eventually, I got better and better. You can check out my other work here. I am truly proud to say that I am now a designer for women of both straight and plus size.

But enough of my yammering... here's the collection! You guys know how deep my love of leopard print is, so of COURSE I had to roll out the first collection with it!

I would love to thank my models Coco C., Bri A., Keita A., and Lex Lunacy for blessing me with their talents as they brought my clothes to life. The PHENOMENAL photographer, Creative ImagiNaetion for her professionalism, humor, and crazy talent. The awesome makeup artist, Erica Carter, thank you for everything! I couldn't have asked for a better group of beautiful women to assist me in making my dream come true!
